Background

Since 1971 Zeta have lead the way in bringing Mediterranean cusine to the Swedish kitchen. By 2011 they faced a major challenge. Their signature range 'Casa Di Luca' was in serious decline. A visual overhaul was needed.

Challenge

A design concept capable of restoring Casa Di Luca's reputation as the experts of modern Italian cuisine.

Insight

The modern-authentic. Protect the authentic and credible Italian. Inspire it for the mordern Scandinavian kitchen.

 

Thinking

Authentic is credible. To much is kitsch. Modern is refreshing. To much is something else. A fusion of cultures. Classic Italian refreshed through the use of colour and visual cues common in Italy. But unobvioius in Sweden. As loud as an angry Italian mamma. As calmly composed as the average modern Scandinavian.

Result

Shelf Impact, impact, impact. From olive oil to pasta. A staggering sales increase of 180% during the first 6 months.
